This balm stick is incredibly handy for targeted moisturizing on the go. It feels smooth and hydrating, but I haven't noticed any significant 'essence' benefits like brightening or plumping beyond basic moisture. It's nice for convenience, but not a powerhouse.

I have been using this balm under my eyes because my concealer was looking dry. I have been loving the results. It makes my makeup go on smoother on top. It is a little bit too balmy for the rest of my face, but I have been loving it under my eyes.
