I have acne and dry skin; this does not look cakey at all on my dry skin and it works nice as a color corrector or to help layer under/over foundation or another concealer. It doesn’t help much with my dark circles or pimples, but it might be because I use a sponge. Also, the CO1 colors sometimes feel too light for my light-medium skin tone and so I have to always go in for my orange shade of concealer to balance the colors. But with all makeup, I do think I noticed the shades oxidizing on my skin after a few hours and then matching perfectly with my skin tone.

This concealer works well for me because I can blend the colors to get the shade I need. I use it to cover dark spots under my eyes and it works as well as other concealers I have used.
