It seems to have a soothing effect even when the skin is slightly sensitive.

It is a lotion that gives a good finishing touch as it is absorbed refreshingly without any stickiness after application. That doesn't mean it can't moisturize, but it moisturizes well enough for dry skin to use. It calms me down a lot and settles down easily.
