I have been using Refilled Hair Recovery for about two weeks, now. There has been a very noticeable and remarkable difference in the overall health of my hair.
This lightweight and non-oil liquid product began by softening the layers of product buildup and sebum on my scalp. After application, I have been using my scalp scrubber throughout the day to help loosen it. I have never had dandruff but at first, that is what it looked like for several days. It rinsed away very easily and subsided over the next 4-5 days. I also used a fine tooth comb. Then, the magic began.
No way any new hairs could have penetrated that layer of buildup on my scalp. I didn't even know it was there! I focused on removing this first and the cooling menthol, amino acids and ingredients sent a pleasant tingle to my scalp. My scalp was noticeably cooler. I'm not sure of the purpose of cooling my scalp but it sure did. I could feel the products penetrating my scalp, where I hadn't before.
I was so impressed and curious that I had to look into the ingredients more closely. Cytokines are proteins, that are crucial in controlling growth and activity of blood cells and many aspects of our immune system. I had no idea before but now I had a basic understanding of how they work.

The combination in this blend has been obviously well researched and thought out. In just ten days, My hair has become so much softer and it seems to me that the strands of my hairs are thicker and they just feel stronger. This was a very pleasant surprise and benefit that I did not expect. By using my scalp scrubber with this, I was distributing it throughout my hair.
Volume is also increased. As of this morning, I am noticing little baby hairs growing in at my hairlines. My hair is long and very fine. It has had a tendency to lay flat to my scalp. I'm not sure if the increased volume and lift at my roots is due to the removal of all of than 'gunk' on my scalp, or if my existing hair is being pushed up by the new growth. Probably a combination of both. This is not an oil or conditioner that is just coating my hair follicles down and gluing itself onto my scalp.
Given the experience that I am having, I have high hopes for the long term. Short term is very impressive. Something is definitely going on in my scalp. It feels invigorated and fresh. I also color my hair at home. This removed all the gunk but did not strip my hair color!
Only time will tell; the container is very large. As a liquid, a little goes a long way and the sponge tip applicator easily distributes the product, reducing waste and ensuring even distribution.
I am not going to spend this much time on checking ingredients and writing a detailed review, if a product doesn't work. This one is giving stellar result in a short amount of time. I am thrilled and will continue using it.
